Sehr sehr unprofessionell.

Worst moving company I have ever used (4th international move). The movers packed bookcases... with books still in them! Items in boxes were just thrown in (i.e. no wrapping, etc). Will be filing a claim once the total damages have been identified. My goal now is to ensure that they lose their status as a preferred mover for the DoD.
*Attached a photo showing how they "packed".

Before sharing my story, it must be noted that Gosselin and Govlog were charged in United States ex rel Bunk v. Gov’t Lotistics NV for a bid rigging scheme to overcharge DOD contracts and defraud the US government. I am at a loss as to why the DOD has decided to continue to give this company contracts especially since they treat servicemen and women and their families so poorly.
This group is handling our current HHG claim for mold for a military move from Japan to Italy. The company has been unresponsive—for the first 2 months, we had to reach out for updates. They never initiated updates despite their business rules stating we were required to be given one weekly.
Next, Ms. Lohaus refused to share business rules with us. It gave a serious impression that they were not following their own rules. We eventually got them from the military, and it turns out they had, indeed, broken several rules including communications and an attempt to block us from attending our own mold inspection.
When the mold inspection finally occurred, the company Gosselin hired didn’t provide estimates for us. They also didn’t inspect 2/3 of our belongings, according to the mold inspector, on instructions from Gosselin.
When Mr. Smith took over our case, he told us he’d like to have our claim paid by the end of the following week. It’s now been almost a month and he has continued to obfuscate. He has been rude and demeaning to me as the female party of the claim. He even put in writing that once a POA was in place for our claim, he would speak to me but “even then, [he] would rather not.”
When we received offers for our items, Mr. Smith lowballed us by over $10k. Interestingly, it was predominantly my items—easily identifiable as female—and heirlooms of my family (which he was aware were mine) that he significantly lowballed.
Mr. Smith continues to answer my husband’s emails promptly and mine slowly or not at all. He told my husband that he would discuss offers with him, but once our POA was in place allowing me to negotiate with him, he changed all offers to final and refused to negotiate. He also will not tell us how he reached values of items he made offers on. For example, he offered $50 for a $250 blouse, and won’t divulge how he reached that sum. He offered 50% value of many other items that we provided actual links to the item online for.
Our family is willingly living overseas to serve the military and it is shameful that Gosselin is taking advantage of service members in this way.

We just received our HHG shipment (PCS Germany to Okinawa, Japan) and we are in shock. They way that multiple of our boxes arrived, is unacceptable. Kitchen Items have just been thrown into boxes, without any care or wrapping. Heavy stuff was put on top of lighter ones and bent them. Shelves have been wrapped without taking out the items inside which broke the inserts. So many things came without a lable/number and boxes were mislabeled, so we didn't even know if everything arrived without going through so many. Fragile items have been wrapped in a single layer of paper while plastic plates where wrapped in 4. Our framed wedding poster was extremely bent, which is just incredible upsetting. In all the years my husband has been in the military, this has never happened any other time he moved.

Worst Moving Company i ever expirienced!
Two movings and they completely destroyed our wooden Floor with deep scratches.
After communication with them, the claimed "it was already there" and that we need proof.
The exact point of hiring a moving company is, that they take care of stuff, not Gosselin.

Mario and David did an excellent job at moving some items out of our garage! They were fast, friendly, and efficient! Highly recommend!
